About Us

Hi, my name is Mary Pamela Sargant and I am the owner of Canadian based Delaney Imaging. While I now consider myself a graphic artist, sketching and doodling have been a passion of mine since I was a little girl. Over the past 5 or 6 years I have spent a lot of time learning and honing my skills. I even bit the bullet and learned some PhotoShop although it’s not a program I enjoy. I like to have more control over the creativity in my images.

I started off creating images for Web sites. Some of my early work included banners, logos, flash ads and buttons including the mouse over variety. From there I migrated to creating images purely as a mode of personal expression. I’ve created images for magazine articles as well as editorial cartoons for small local newspapers and humorous cartoons to put on my site and amuse my friends. I enjoy creating unique backgrounds for MySpace friends and personalized avatars for Skype buddies.

Creating original artwork by combining sketch art and digital art is something I really enjoy. My main focus is fantasy. The bulk of my business involves creating virtual artwork for Web sites and physical artwork for newsletters, cards and illustrations for children’s books. I’ve even written three books myself. The Puddle People, Mother’s Survival Kit and the Christmas Survival Kit. For more information about me or Delaney Imaging, contact me at delaney2@sympatico.ca.
